He was born in Woodford County, Kentucky, son of the late Henry Thomas and Lillie Sluder Jelf. He was retired Head Shipper with Hostess Bread Company and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and he loved his eight cats. Surviving besides his wife are his two daughters; Tina Music, Lexington, Sonya {Danny} Figgins, Mason County, his four sons; Dallas {Pam} Jelf, Jr., Richmond, Mike {Rhonda} Jelf, Greg {Donna} Jelf and Robert Carver all of Lexington. He was also preceded in death by his two sons; Gary Mark Jelf and William Dean Carver. <b>Funeral Information</b> No services are planned.
