Obituary of Jack Elwood Smith

<b>Obituary</b> Jack Elwood Smith, of Lexington,Kentucky, born September 13, 1930 to the late Willie Tipton and Gladys Smith, died at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center on March 15, 2013 after a long illness. He is survived by his sister, Olvia Miller, of Phoenix, Arizona; and brother, Robert Smith, of Mt Vernon, Kentucky. He is also survived by a very special friend and caretaker, Pat Holt of Lexington, Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruby Lee Johnson, Dorothy Elizabeth Anderson, Delavenia Smith Spencer, Mona Ree Smith, Bonnie Evelyn Smith; and four brothers, James Harvey Smith, Davis Edward Smith, W.R. (Tip) Smith and Donald Ernest Smith. <b>Funeral Information</b> Honoring Jack's wishes, there will be no formal services. His burial will take place at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
