Dear Sally,
I just learned of Ken's death. I am so sorry for your loss and for our loss. Ken was a true gentleman and a spirited and incredibly gifted attorney. As much as I enjoyed Ken as a colleague, I dreaded facing him in court as an opponent. The legal profession will miss him but your loss and your family's loss is infinitely greater. I am so sorry.

I got to know Kenneth when we were both sacking groceries at S H over forty years ago. Over the years we would be in occasional contact about various legal matters. He was a good lawyer and a good man with an excellent reputation. My sympathy to his family.

Ken was a great friend to Wanda and I. He was the best Prosecuting Attorney I have ever known. He will be missed. Lexington has lost a great man and we are all better off having known him.

My deepest sympathy to Ken's family. I'll always remember Ken and his friendship while he was in the Commonwealth's Attorney office and I was a Lexington police officer. I often think of those years and the challenges of cases we shared. He was a magnificent attorney, but more important, he was a good and decent man.

It was indeed an honor and pleasure to know and work with Ken. He was undoubtedly a tremendous attorney, and was highly admired and respected by everyone, including his opponents. He was a gem of a man,and I am saddened to learn of his passing. My deepest condolences to the family.

Ken was a giant among men. He was probably the smartest attorney and had the biggest heart of any prosecutor I ever worked with. It was such fun back in the old days working with Ken and "the flame" and Larry ----I would have hated to have been a defense attorney going up against any of the three of them, but Ken was the best legal-beagle of them all. Rest in peace, Ken.

Ken had many friends and colleagues around the Commonwealth. He was a great lawyer and always a pleasure to be with. We will miss his staunch advocacy for his clients and his great good humor.

It was a blessing that I was able to practice cases with Ken. He was a great lawyer, a gentle man and epitomized what our profession should be about. He was good in every way. We will all miss him--his smile, witty comments and his laugh.
His leaving will create a void that there is no one to fill.
I am sorry for your loss and for that of your family. Please know that you are all in my prayers.

I am broken-hearted. Ken was a dear friend, and has been for as long as I have worked in the legal field. He will be missed, but remembered for the bright spot he brought into my day each time I got to see him.

It is with my deepest regret that I extend my sympathy to you Sally and to your family. Ken had a humor that was a delight and would brighten any office setting. I loved when I got to work with him and was glad for the friendship. Leave a candle in the window for us Ken, we will see you on the other side.

I knew Kenneth as a young teenager- we met when he visited his cousins in Evansville. We had such fun- he was a great guy with a beautiful smile and such a happy way about him. We played pingpong, miniature golf, Monopoly, listened to music and talked for hours. Such happy times with a great group of friends sitting in the backyards. Remembering you with love- fly happy and free Kenneth!

Grew up with Kenneth in Mayfield. Played many a hand of poker, spent many a night camping, telling lies and talking about girls, not necessarily in that order. Started shaving in the 5th grade, I think (him, not me). Hell of a good guy, and I sure wouldn't have wanted to oppose him in court. Sincere sympathies to the family. Rest well, old friend.
