Obituary of Charles T. Bartlett

<b>Versailles</b> VERSAILLES- Charles Tyler Bartlett, Jr., 99, widower of his beloved Mary Evelyn Bartlett, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015. A native of Woodford County, he was born on July 17, 1915 to the late Charles T. Bartlett, Sr. and Fannie Lou Towls Bartlett. Mr. Bartlett was a retired Federal Inspector for Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and a Combat Naval Veteran having served in World War II. He was also a member of New Hope Baptist Church and an avid New York Yankee fan. Mr. Bartlett is survived by his children, Larry Bartlett, Lexington, Gary (Sonya) Bartlett, Bowling Green, and Judy (Dan) Long, <b>Versailles</b>; his brother, John C. "Doc" Bartlett, NJ; grandchildren, Cheri (Darrel) Smith, Jason (Julie) Bartlett, Justin (Katie) Morris, Lori Bartlett and Monica (Jim) Kiel; and great grandchildren, Madison Bartlett, Avery Bartlett, Kelbie Spencer, Jadyn Spencer, Arianna Bartlett, Alecia Bartlett, Tyler Morris, Tanner Morris, Ashley Kiel and Zachary Kiel; and his great great grandchild, Myla Hope Bartlett. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Wayne Dedman, Harold Dedman, Jason Bartlett, Justin Morris, Kevin Lane, and Rick Morris. Honorary casketbearers will be Tommy Hatton, David Sims, Chester Wilson, Jim Cawby, Dwain Kincaid, Loren Carl, Darrel Smith, Sherry Cox and Pearl Higgins. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 4-8pm at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
