Betty, a member at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, was a person who loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, with whom she had unconditional love. She was known for her spaghetti, vegetable soup and her special macaroni dish. She worked at G.E. for 38 years where she had many life-long friends. She spent her casual hours working with her hanging flower baskets and on weekends, loved to go shopping and have lunch with her girls. In years past, all of the kids in the neighborhood would come to her house on Friday evenings, which was called "Chip Night", to help unload the groceries and receive their bag of chips and candy. When it was time for dinner, everyone in the family knew her distinctive whistle used to call all of the Manley children to the dinner table. Betty was never known as Ms. Manley...she was Mom or Granny to everyone. Funeral Information There will be a visitation from 6-9 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 and funeral service at noon, Thursday, March 19, 2015 both at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
