He was born August 18, 1927 in Scott County, KY. Chester leaves behind his devoted wife of 67 years, Virginia Logan Southworth, sons, Larry Southworth (Andrea), Stevie Southworth (Lexie), granddaughters Stephanie Southworth Butler (Steven), Emilie Southworth Barrick (Adam), great-grandchildren Sophie Alexis Butler and Henry Thomas Barrick, a devoted sister Hazel Southworth Withrow, and special friends Valerie Mays and Garry Zeigler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester T. Southworth, Sr., Rosie Sargent Southworth and siblings Bryant, George, and twin Jerry Southworth and Florence Southworth, Rhoda Mauer, Edna McDonald, Lethie McDonald, and Virginia Wykoff. Chester was a WWII Army veteran. He was a farmer and retired from the KY Labor Cabinet Casketbearers will be James Southworth, George Southworth, Jr, Earl McDonald, Wayne Logan, Bob Logan, and Jeff Wiley. Honorary pallbearers are nieces and nephews. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation is Sunday, January 25 , from 2-5 p.m. Services will be held Monday, January 26 at 11a.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort. Steve Hadden, Midway Baptist Church will conduct the service. Burial at Midway Cemetery.
