She was born in Newton, North Carolina on October 8, 1920 to the late Samuel and Minnie Rinehart Pace. Mrs. Greene was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Jennifer Shaw of Versailles; three grandchildren, Rachel (DJ) Wilson and Melissa Danison, all of Versailles; Edward Greene IV of Rocky Mount, N.C.; two great grandchildren, Mac and Maggie Wilson.
