Obituary of Lloyd Griffie

<b>Versailles</b> Lloyd Griffie, age 83, of <b>Versailles</b>, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Bluegrass Commonwealth Hospital in <b>Versailles</b>, KY. Lloyd was born February 19, 1931 in Banks, KY to the late Garland and Artie Cole Griffie. Lloyd was a retired tube line controller for Sylvania and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Brozetta Ison Griffie; five sons, Greg and wife Deanna of Griffie, Texas; Tim and his wife Amy of Nicholasville; Walt Griffie of Lawrenceburg; David Griffie of <b>Versailles</b>; and Chris and his wife Kellie of <b>Versailles</b>; three sisters; two brothers; and the following grandchildren, Allison, Jake, Erica, Sarah, Steven, Allie, Aaron, Davie, and Nathan. <b>Funeral Information</b> Graveside services for Lloyd Griffie will be conducted at 11 AM Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Steve Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Thursday evening at the Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.
