Obituary of Melvin H. Bernard

<b>Obituary</b> VERSAILLES- Melvin H. Bernard, 75, husband of Lola Wilson Bernard, died Monday, September, 9, 2013. He was born in Casey County, KY to the late R.C. and Lula Holt Bernard on October 10, 1937. Mr. Bernard was a Truck Driver for the Fayette County Government and attended Kingsway Assembly of God. In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Allen (Wendy) Bernard, Versailles; his grandchildren, Alyssa Bernard, VA and Torri Bernard, Versailles; and his sisters, Loucille Shaw, AL and Christine Edens, IN. Mr. Bernard was preceded in death by his son, Melvin Christian Bernard; his sister, Beaulah Brockman; and his brothers, Herman, Charlie and Marvin Bernard. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 12pm until 2pm Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with the funeral following at 2pm. Rev. Jeff Johnson, Rev. Joe Girdler, and Rev. J.P. Vick will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Tommy Jones, Mark Sims, Jeff Bland, Donald Rice, Johnny Murphy and Jimmy Murphy.
