Obituary of Donald E. Riggs

<b>Lexington, KY</b> Donald E. Riggs, 65, died June 10, 2014. He is survived by his sisters Barbara (Daniel) Leininger and Brenda Paul; brothers William (Jean) Riggs and Billie Keith (Connie) Riggs; 9 nieces and nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents William E. and Rozella (Howard) Riggs. Donald retired from the State of Kentucky, Transportation Department after 27 years and 4 months of service. He also worked for IBM for 7 years. He was a U.S. Marine serving from 1967-1969. Don loved to travel; his beloved UK Wildcats; classical music; his family and supporting WKET TV and The Smithsonian Museum. <b>Funeral Information</b> There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, June 13, 2014 from 5-8 PM which will include a military honors service at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
