She was born in Lexington, daughter of the late Herbert Earl and Mary Turner Baker. She was a member of First Church of God on Kingston Road. She is survived by her brother; Nelson E. {Viola} Baker, Lexington, her two cousins; Patricia {Norman} Colvin, Nicholasville, Cathy (Carol) Teater, Indianapolis, Indiana, her two nephews; Nelson E. {Becky} Baker, Jr. and Jimmy Baker, all of Lexington; granddaughter, Amber Michelle Caywood; two sister-in-laws, Donna Jennings and Sherry (Wayne) Brandenburg. She was also preceded in death by her son, Adam Caywood.
