Obituary of Stuart Price Berryman

<b>Nicholasville, Kentucky</b> Stuart Price Berryman, 76, lifelong resident of Nicholasville, died Tuesday, May 19, of complications following a stroke. Stuart was born Feb. 5, 1939, in Nicholasville to Virginia Walker Berryman and Streshley Price Berryman Jr. He was the loving husband of JoAnn Berryman for 53 years. He is survived by two sons, John Stuart (Gerria) Berryman and James Price (Tina) Berryman; four grandchildren, Sarah Robinson, Scott Robinson, Tyler Berryman and Morgan Berryman; and five great-grandchildren, Dakota Clark, Ayden Robinson, Delainey Clark, Daniel Clark and Dawsyn Clark. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents. Berryman tended land and dairy cattle in Nicholasville all of his life. He was an avid dairy showman and enjoyed dairying and showing his cattle from his teenage years until his death. He was a founding member of the Jessamine County Rescue Squad and was one of the first Emergency Medical Technicians and EMT Instructors in Kentucky. He was also a longtime member of the Jessamine County Fair Board and served on many other civic and agricultural boards and committees. Stuart carved a unique legacy in the dairy community and was known as the one to be counted on to have just about any tool or supply you could possibly need or imagine on the show circuit. Stuart was an only child but he will be greatly missed by his family and many others across the dairy industry in particular. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services will be held Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, 601 East Brannon Road in Nicholasville. Following the service, there will be a pot-luck gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life from 3 to 5 p.m.
