Obituary of George "Whitie" Grose

<b>Obituary</b> VERSAILLES- George "Whitie" Grose, 84,husband of Margaret Wiggins Grose, died suddenly at his home after a long battle with heart disease. Mr. Grose was born August 16, 1928 in Scott County, to the late Elmer Bryce and Hazel Lewis Grose. He was a self-employed Block Mason for over 35 years, held in the highest regards by homebuilders all over Central Kentucky, and known as the Best Block Mason in the area. In addition to his wife of over 60 years, he is survived by his daughter, Pam (Duke) Parks and his son, Buddy Grose; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his sister, Hazel (Jerry) Elrod; his brother, Charles (Jo) Grose and numerous nieces and nephews. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm, Monday, November 26, 2012 at Clark Nueral Home, Rose Hill, Versailles, Kentucky. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary L. Long, his nephew, officiating. Burial will take place in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Bill Grose, Will Grose, Bill Watts, Duke Parks, Daymon Carlton and Kevin Griffith.
