Obituary of John Russell Stallard

<b>Frankfort</b> John Russell Stallard, 73, was called home Saturday, May 31st after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Henry and Florence Stallard and his siblings, James Allen, William Joseph Stallard and Sarah Stallard Hughlett. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Jacobs Stallard; one son, Mike (Janet) Stallard; one daughter, Melissa Stallard; two grandsons, Jon-Michael and Jacob; siblings, Clarence (Lucy) Stallard, George (Hazel) Stallard, Charles (Jane) Stallard, Ernest L. (Frankie) Stallard, Anna Shaw, Dorothy Stallard Durham, Mary (Roy) Rodgers; a host of nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. He was a well-known home builder, an avid fisherman, gardener, sports fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral services will be 1PM on Thursday, June 5th at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
