Her family is confident in her salvation, and the fact that they will one day be together again. Celebrating the Life of Gram If you ever had the privilege of spending time with Gram, you knew that there was something intensely different about this woman. We're not going out on a limb here when we say that she was a major unifying force for our family; the quintessential matriarch. She was warm, loving, selfless, funny and smart and a Master Scrabble player. She loved us and countless others with an enthusiastic and unconditional love that most people can only hope to reserve for a select few individuals. She prayed daily for each of her family members by name (all 700ish of us). She reminded us continually how faithful God is and the utmost importance of salvation through Christ alone! She always said, "Perhaps today my face shall see the Lamb of God Who died for me." She is with Him now! In short, she was a Godly woman. She loved Jesus and that love radiated out of Gram in no uncertain terms. For those of us that loved her, knew her, or only met her for five minutes, we were privileged to catch a glimpse of our Sovereign King of the Universe. So as we gather to mourn, reflect, celebrate, laugh, eat, and/or make stupid family videos, we thank God for who He is, who Gram was because of Him, and the time we had with her.
