Obituary of Donald Frederick Hackney

<b>Obituary</b> Donald Frederick Hackney, 84, of Versailles, Kentucky and husband of Mildred "Mimi" Hogan Hackney, died Monday, September 17, 2012. A native of Woodford County, he was born on June 18, 1928 to the late Ben and Elizabeth Burke Hackney. Mr. Hackney was a retired Postal Carrier and a Veteran of the US Army. He was also a member of the Versailles Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Alan (Tara) Hackney, Woodford County; daughter, Mary Dean (Phil) Vertuca, Jessamine County; and his brother, Albert B. (Betty Jane) Hackney, Lexington. Donald is preceded in death by his son, Donald Keith Hackney. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 10:30 am - 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill in Versailles, Kentucky. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Brandon officiating.
