Mrs. Chism was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Mercita Brogle Snyder on October 31, 1948. She was a retired clerk from Farmland Industries and previously the Department of Human Resources with the State of Kentucky. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her son, Boyd Allen Chism, Missouri; two brothers, Carl E. Snyder, Florence and Edward J.
