Obituary of James C. Eaves

<b>Obituary</b> James C. Eaves, 86, husband of Lou Eaves and father of Pam (Jim) Knight and Dawn (Freeman) Bailey, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. A lifelong resident of Woodford County, James was born on March 2, 1927 to the late Virgil and Minnie Tate Eaves in Versailles. He was retired from Rand McNally. A member of the "Greatest Generation," he served in the Army and Air Force during and after World War II. In addition to his wife and children, James is survived by his grandsons, Jim (Kayla) Knight, Dan (Shannon) Knight, and Adam (Amy) Bailey; eight great-grandchildren, Morgan, Eden, Troy, Peyton, Clay, Luke, Lucia, and Harper; and a sister, Bess (Donald) Bain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Linda Myers. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, April 12, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road with Pam Knight, Reverend Carol Steward, and Chaplain Rick McClung officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Freeman Bailey, Jim Knight, Dan Knight, Adam Bailey, Greg Donaho, and Jimmy Knight. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.
