Obituary of Kwame Adhiambo El-Amin
<b>Lexington, KY</b>
Kwame Adhiambo El-Amin was born to his beloved mother, Nora Lee El-Amin and his respected father, Omar Askia El-Amin on December 4, 1972. He leaves behind to mourn his passing three children: Tarik Omari El-Amin, Jamaal Khaleel El-Amin and Jameelah Asha El-Amin; one grandchild, Tarik Omari El-Amin, Jr.; six sisters, Oluwatoyin El-Amin, Ahenewa El-Amin, Aisha (Kimothy) El-Amin, Laila El-Amin, Tasleem El-Amin and Rasheedah (Kamaal) El-Amin, Kwame also leaves behind his devoted fianc, Claudia Diane Ellis.
As part of one of the first Muslim families in Lexington, Kentucky. Kwame was a proud member of Masjd Bilal Ibn Rabah. He was in the first graduating class of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and briefly attended Eastern Kentucky University.
A born entrepreneur, Kwame was a member of several business ventures El-Amin's Eats Treats from which he sold his famous fish.
Kwame was well known for his incredible and spirited intellectual debates on any subject.
Kwame was a people person and through his travels he sought to enjoy the most of life and he touched many lives in the process.
<b>Funeral Information</b>
There will be a gathering from 1-3 PM, Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing followed by a Celebration of Life service from 3-4 PM.
