Obituary of Hugh M McCay Sr.

<b>Lexington, Kentucky</b> Hugh M. McCay, Sr. passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Hisel McCay and a sister, Mary Jo Whitaker. He was a Kentucky Colonel, an ERA Vietnam Veteran, Army SG E-5 and he was a retired employee of GE Lexington Lamp Plant with 30 years of employment. Hugh was also a member of Day Break Community Church. He is survived by his son, Hugh "Mason" McCay, Jr.and Heather Hobbs (Lex), two daughters, Caryn McCay and Elizabeth McCay both of Lexington; brother, Don McCay of Louisville; three sisters, Bobbie Adams of Waco, Betty Blevins of Berea and Mildred Dean of Leesburg, FL; four grandchildren Payton, Nathan, Allie and Ethan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. <b>Funeral Information</b> A celebration of Hugh's life will be held from 4-6pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a service to follow at 6pm. Private family burial will be held on Thursday, October 17th.
