Obituary of Pete Alvin Hardin

<b>Frankfort</b> Pete Alvin Hardin, 88, widower of Alice Faye Roberts Hardin, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his home. A native of Shelbyville, Mr. Hardin was born July 12, 1925 to the late Pete and Clara Clark Hardin. He retired from Fanmer Carpenters Local 1650 from 1965-1987 in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a Veteran of WWII, an active member of Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and his hobby was mowing his neighbors' lawns. Mr. Hardin is survived by a daughter, Linda H. Lewis of <b>Frankfort</b>; two sons, Jerry A. (Charlene) Hardin and Lonnie G. Hardin both of <b>Frankfort</b>; a sister, Christine Whisman of Shelbyville; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a love companion, Harley and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Johnnie Bohannon, Tommie Payton, Scott Hardin, Henry Morrow, John Lynn Roberts and Jeffrey Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be: Wally Jamison, Wallace Hardin, Hugh Peak, Dale Roberts, Wayne Carrie and Ozzie Bradley. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road with Rev. Rick Clark of Central Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday, September 20, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
