Obituary of Shirley Rose

<b>Frankfort, KY</b> Shirley Rose, 79, wife of Danny Rose, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. A native of Woodford County, she was born on February 2, 1938 to the late Clay and Virginia Sorrell Troxell. She worked as a caregiver. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Teresa Buckner, Frankfort, Carla Thompson, Frankfort, Ann Kelly Thompson, Frankfort, and Mike Thompson, Frankfort; her brother, Clay Troxell, Frankfort; a grandson, Timothy Mikey Thompson; several additional grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. <b>Funeral Information</b> A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. The family wishes that everyone would wear UK blue.
