<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Wilmore - Joe Coons Hardman, Jr., 83, husband of Rita Alcorn Hardman, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Hospice Care Center in Lexington. He was born in Lexington, son of the late Josiah C. and Patsey Young Hardman, Sr. He was a veteran of U.S. Air Force, a retired Captain with the Lexington Fire Department, Harrodsburg Road Station 2 and a retired employee with the V.A Hospital in Lexington in the Construction Engineering Department. He was a member and Elder of the High Bridge Union Church, a member for over 50 years of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky #1 F AM, a 32 Degree Mason, a Shriner and a Gideon. Surviving besides his wife; are his sons; Tupper Josiah {Leslie} Hardman, Harrodsburg, Doug {Lori} Dunaway, Versailles, his daughter; Trina Ann Dunaway, Wilmore, his two sisters; Anne {Malcolm} McGregor, Doris {Jack} Radcliff all of Lexington, his eight grandchildren and his great grandchild. His Celebration of Life service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing conducted by Pastor Glen Spann and Dr. Roy Lauter. A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow the Celebration of Life service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to High Bridge Union Church or Gideons International. His honorary casket bearers will be Dr. Roy Lauter, Leonard Fitch, Leonard Edwards, David Spencer, Pastor Dean Cook, The Coffee Club, Victor Whitaker, Burt Walker, Jack Wright, Bill Deering, Arzi Byrd, Buzz Moberly, Mark Lister, Malcolm McGregor, Crofton Bays, Will Rogers, Frank McKinney, Robert Houp and Matt Kinnell. <b>Funeral Information</b> Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 6 PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing conducted by Pastor Glenn Spann and Dr. Roy Lauter. A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow after the service.
