Obituary of Ralph T. Rose

<b>Obituary</b> Ralph T. Rose 88, formerly of Barrington Hills, Illinois passed away on September 12, 2012 at his horse farm Runners Ridge in Versailles, Kentucky. Mr. Rose grew up in Pana and Evanston, Illinois. He graduated from Evanston High School in 1942. He was an Army Captain and Veteran of World War II. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Northwestern University, where he was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. In 1967 he founded Rose Industries, Inc., a venture that led him into a variety of opportunities to utilize his thirst for implementing innovations in industry. Mr. Rose's love for airplanes and horses led him to become a pilot, polo player, thoroughbred owner, trainer and President of the Riding Club of Barrington Hills. Mr. Rose is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Marilou; his loving children Randy (Jack) Etters, Townley (Jennifer) Rose, and dear grandchildren, Travis and Brittney Etters, TR (Amanda) and Trevor Rose. Ralph was preceded in death by his sister Joan Gahan. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Blue Grass. Private family services are planned.
