Obituary of Callie Dorton Wilder

<b>Obituary</b> Callie Dorton Wilder, 87, of Versailes, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 29, 2010. She was born December 9, 1922 in Bell County, Kentucky, to the late James Franklin and Beth Ann Simpson Dorton. She had attended Revival Tabernacle Church, and had been a volunteer home companion to the elderly, and worked for Great Mid-West Moving and Storage. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Sue (Burl) Osborne, of Dallas TX, her sons, Lemuel Carl Wilder Salyers, of Tennessee, Ralph (Dixie) Brooks, of Arizona, Ewing Mitchell Wilder, of Richwood, Nelson Eddie (Mary Anna) Wilder, of Versailles, Bobby Houston (Wanda) of Crittenden, Terry Lee (Mary Jane) Wilder, of Versailles, sisters, Betty Lee ( Ray) Dick, of Michigan, Margaret (Darrell) Walters, of Lexington, 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Her sisters Caroline Saylor, Shrilda Miracle, and Ruth Tipton, and brothers, Otis Dorton, Fred H. Dorton, James Edward Dorton, A.B. Dorton, Alfred Dorton, and William Nelson Dorton preceded her in death. Her family would like to thank the management and staff at Pine Meadows Nursing Home for their outstanding care and support for the past 3 years. Callie's husband, Nelson Salyers Wilder, preceded her in death. <b>Funeral Information</b> A Memorial Service will be 6 pm, Monday, May 3, 2010 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow from 7-9 pm. Elder Ricky Dorton and T.J. Wilder will be officiating the service.
