Obituary of John C. Routt

<b>John C. Routt</b> <b>John C. Routt</b>, Jr, 82, husband of Ann Lancaster Routt, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013. John was born in Woodford County on November 11, 1931. He was a member of Versailles Baptist Church and attended Mosaic Church. He was also a veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughters, Teri D. Routt and Rosemarie (Lonnie) Knauss both of Versailles; his sister, Lucille Crutchfield of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Jason (Karie) Thompson, Justin (Shelly) Zielke, Nick Zielke, John (Erin) Zielke, Zachary Knauss, Maclain Knauss, Mackinzie Knauss, and Ashli (Charles) Evans; and his great-grandchildren, Olivia Thompson, Gracie Zielke, Sam Zielke, Blake Evans, and Jacob Evans. His was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-mother and his daughter, Sue Routt Zielke. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, November 23, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Reverend Todd Probus and Reverend John Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jason Thompson, Justin Zielke, Nick Zielke, John Zielke, Zachary Knauss, Maclain Knauss, Mackinzie Knauss, and Ashli Evans. Honorary casketbearers will be Denzel Centers, Griff Reed, Charles Evans, Scott Lancaster, Lonnie Knauss, Bobby Flora, Mark Crutchfield and Norman Morton. Visitation will be 5:00- 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.
