Obituary of Melvin Lee McGuire Jr.

<b>Obituary</b> Melvin "Mel" L. McGuire, Jr., 60, of Lexington, Kentucky and husband of April D. McGuire, died Sunday, May 13, 2012. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on November 27, 1951 to Margaret McGuire and the late Melvin Lee McGuire, Sr. Mel was a graduate of Henry Clay High School. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Megan (Michael) Morin, JoAnna McGuire and Rachel Boggs, all of Lexington, KY; his sons, Melvin "Lee" McGuire, III and Matthew Lawrence, both of Rome, GA; sisters, Wanda (Bobby) Holland, Jean (Wilbur) Simpson, Connie (Howard) Coleman, Margaret (Steve) Fite and Darla (Buzzy) Meyers, all of Lexington, KY; brothers, Ronnie (Dorothy) McGuire of New Orleans, LA and Raymond (Jackie) McGuire of Lexington, KY; 7 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. <b>Funeral Information</b> A Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Mel's life will be 5-9 pm, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
