Obituary of Pastor Carl Phillip King

<b>Jessamine County, KY</b> Pastor Carl P. King, 73, died March 26, 2015. He is survived by his wife Carolyn King; daughter Crystal King; sons Jeff King, Rick (Tracy) Redmon and Brad (Sherri) Redmon and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Lucille (Nichols) King and brother Donald King. Pastor King was known as a pioneer in inter-city outreach ministry. He felt particularly drawn to at-risk teens. After college, he served the Lord on the streets of New York City and Chicago, with Teen Challenge and Pastor David Wilkenson, He was also well known for his many radio shows, especially "Stump The Preacher". Pastor King served as pastor at The Christian Assembly Church. <b>Funeral Information</b> There will be a visitation from 2:30-4:30 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2015 and will be followed by a service at 4:30 at Christian Assembly Church on Ashgrove, Nicholasville, KY 40356
