Obituary of Charles E King

<b>Nicholasville, Kentucky</b> Charles Edward King, 72, husband of Shirley Roberts King of Nicholasville, KY., formally of McCreary Co. died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at St Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Cooperative, KY., son of the late Everett and Pearl Foster King. He was a former employee of J.C. Penny Company, a veteran of the U.S Army and a member of Logana Baptist Church in Jessamine Co. He loved his grandchildren and great grandson. He loved the outdoors, gardening and was big hearted and would do anything for anyone. Surviving besides his wife are his daughter; Lori (Doug) Dunaway of Versailles, his son Tony King of Nicholasville, his sister JoAnn (Leo) Tucker of Muncie, IN, his two brothers; Robert (Mary) King of Geneva, FL, Duane (Vera) King of Stearns, KY, his four grandchildren; Chelsea Williams, Dylan, Jacob, and Amber Dunaway, and one great grandson; Carter Sean Thompson. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Edward King. Casket Bearers include James Russell, Jamie Wright, Steve Roberts, Dylan Dunaway, Tony Shields, Justin Shields, and Alex Fogle. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral service for Mr. King will be 11am Thursday July 17th, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, conducted by Pastor Steve Ashley. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9pm Wednesday July 16th, at Clark Legacy Center.
