Obituary of Blain Cooper

<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Blain Cooper, age 84 of Versailles, Kentucky, passed on Sunday morning March 15th at home. He was a native of Fleming County, KY. He served honorably in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army. He was a graduate of Mayo State Vocational School as well as schooling in many other technical training studies. He entered into Holy Matrimony on September 26, 1954 to Vivian June Hicks. From this union came four children, Vicki, Jeffrey, Pamela and Regina. He is preceded in death by two daughters, Vicki Maureen Cooper Thomas and Pamela Louise Cooper and one granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Cooper. He is survived by his wife June, one son, Jeffrey Wayne Cooper (Debbie) and one daughter, Regina Cheryl Cooper Fish (Carl), five grandchildren (David Thomas, Belinda Adams (Jerhamy Winkfield), Jessica Hall (Josh), Amy Thomas and Nathan Cooper (Stephanie Woerner)), six great grandchildren (James Washington, Jaylan Washington, Jordan Adams, Addison Cooper, Alivia Cooper and Emma Hall), two sisters (Helen Bradfield and Shirley Knox) and one brother, Earl Cooper (Donna). He was a member of the Lexington United Baptist Church for 43 years and a minister; he also attended the Grace Freewill Baptist Church. He will be forever missed but he lives on through his family and the many people whose life he touched with his kindness, love, wisdom and knowledge. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services will be held at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m... Funeral services will be the following morning at 11:00 a.m... The interment will be at Rose Crest Cemetery, Versailles, KY.
