Obituary of Viola Duncan Flora

<b>Frankfort</b> Viola Duncan Flora, 92, resident of Ashwood Place, <b>Frankfort</b>, Kentucky, widow of James Flora, died June 25, 2014 in the Hospice Care Center at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Mrs. Flora was born August 1, 1921 in Woodford County to the late Henry Duncan and Lutie Ockerman Duncan. She is survived by a sister, Betty Hall of Lexington; three daughters, Yvonne (Donnie) Bailey, Jan (Charles) Hubbard and Joyce (Terry) Rader; nine grandchildren, Julie (Joe) Lauberth, Marsha (Timmy) Perkins, Jeff Giles, Kenny Hubbard, Greg (Crystal) Hubbard, Aaron Rader, Amy (Jason) Hunter, Ricky (Nancy) Bailey and Troy (Jamie) Bailey; twenty great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Leslie Duncan, Howard Duncan, Emmett Duncan, Joe Duncan and an infant Harris Duncan; and three sisters, Hazel McGaughey, Hallie Crocker and Lida Spencer. Mrs. Flora was a member of the First United Methodist Church of <b>Frankfort</b> where she was a member of the Triple L Club and a volunteer in the church's soup kitchen for 14 years. She worked in the Department of Revenue in Kentucky State Government for 25 years and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxilliary. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services for Mrs. Flora will be conducted on Saturday at 1PM at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Reverend Sammy Harris officiating, followed with the burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Hubbard, Bradley Tracy, Jeremy Banks, Cody Banks, Aaron Rader and Jason Hunter. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Giles, Kenny Hubbard, Donnie Bailey, Charles Hubbard, Timmy Perkins and Terry Rader. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
