Obituary of Barbara Loraine Hembree

<b>Lexington, Kentucky</b> Barbara Loraine Lambert Hembree was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on March 11,1939. She was one of six kids born to Horace and Ada Sutton Lambert. Barbara was the only girl, she had five brothers, Johnny, Gene, Ronald, Leroy and James. When she was in high school she met John Hembree and soon they were married. Barbara had three sons, Johnny, Gary and Jeffery. She loved our lord and savior Jesus Christ. She brought her children up in church and taught them the word of God just as she had been raised. Barbara had a beautiful voice and loved singing at her church. She taught Sunday school for many years and helped her church wherever she was needed. Barbara was a fun loving person, she loved to laugh and joke around, but she was quick to tell you exactly what was on her mind, not holding her tongue. She was good hearted, generous and believed in helping others any time she could. If she wasn't in church she would watch her favorite channel WLJC, which she donated to every month, as well as giving to St. Jude Children's Hospital. If you ever got the chance to meet Barbara, you felt her love for life, the love for her children and the love for our lord. Her smile was big, bright and lit up an entire room and will continue with her in her forever home in heaven. <b>Funeral Information</b> A private service will be held.
