Obituary of Rose Marie Pennington

<b>Versailles KY</b> Rose Marie Gilbert Pennington, 54, died January 25, 2014. She is survived by her daughters. Melissa and Garry Curtis Clay, Jr. , Colby Pennington, Rachel Pennington and Nicki Pennington; sisters Marjorie Gilbert, Linda Douglas and JoAnn Gilbert; grandchildren Hailee Robertson, Akeem Clay, Bryan Epperson, Chloe Epperson, Aaron Pennington, Daisie Perez and Anthony Perez and a close family friend Mike Stepp. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Pennington; parents Ira and Dorothy Gilbert and brother William "Bill" Gilbert. Rose worked farms, and prided herself as the first woman construction worker in Sedwick County, Kansas, as well as raising her grandson Aaron Pennington. In addition to working puzzles, she loved raising her children and her grandchildren. <b>Funeral Information</b> Celebration will be at a later date in Kansas.
