Obituary of Sarah Roark Sandknop

<b>Online Obituaries for Versailles KY</b> Sarah Roark Sandknop of Versailles, and formally of Lexington, died September 15th surrounded by her family and friends at her home. She is survived by her two, amazing children, Audrey and Eric, who loved their mother dearly. The three of them loved to travel to Spain, Belize, New York City among many other places. Traveling the world was one of the many loves she instilled in her children. Sarah was an avid art collector, gardener, and cook. She was a Quality Assurance Manager at Hewlett-Packard where she worked for many years. Her favorite place was Van Buren Point, New York where she loved being with her sisters, brother, parents, children, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and nephews. She found peace sitting on the beach with her toes in the water or on hot days she would submerge herself in the cold, Lake Erie water. On rainy days, you could find her in various antique stores and New York wineries. Sarah loved people, and she was gifted in being able to give herself to others. Her particular passion has been with her Pastoral Care Team at St. John's Episcopal Church where she served many in her community. She will be remembered by many friends who loved and cared for her dearly. Thank you to all her family, friends, doctors, and church community.
