Obituary of Jane Brooks

<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Versailles - Jane Hopewell Brooks, 81, widow of Walter Brooks, died Monday, February 3, 2014. Jane was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 2, 1932 to the late John and Hilda Hutchinson Hopewell. She was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in the Korean War. Jane is survived by her daughters, Susan (Tony) Holmes of Lexington, and Sarah Brooks of Versailles; her son, John (Lisa) Brooks of Versailles; her sisters Holly Meyer of Maryland and Lucy Greenwood of Florida; a brother Gregory Wood of Florida; and 4 Grandchildren, Sarah and Michael Holmes, and Jennifer and Benjamin Brooks. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clark Hopewell and a sister, Martha Hoover. <b>Funeral Information</b> A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill is in charge of arrangements.
