Obituary of Albert Perkins Jr

<b>Danville, Kentucky</b> LTC Albert R. Perkins, Jr, (ret), husband of Anna G. Perkins, died Nov. 15, 2013, at Thompson-Hood VA Center. Also surviving are a daughter, Anne Patrick, Frankfort, KY; Son, William Perkins (Maria), SLC, UT; Sister Patricia Lovington, Memphis, TN; Sister-in-law Freida Hartley, Manteca, CA; Grandchildren David Patrick (deceased), Lucas Patrick, Drew Perkins, and Megan Perkins. Col. Lt. Col. Perkins served assignments in the U.S., Europe, Pacific, and Southeast Asia. His last assignment was Commander of 3rd Rgn. CID. Following military retirement, he served as a civilian investigator for the 2nd U.S. Army IG office. He was an avid backpacker, canoeist, rafter, and an enthusiastic amateur photographer. <b>Funeral Information</b> Private Graveside service will be at Camp Nelson
