Obituary of Vodis Harold Thompson

<b>Online Obituaries for Versailles KY</b> Vodis Harold Thompson, 82, husband of Audrey Patterson Thompson, died Friday, January 17, 2014. He was born in Midway, KY to the late Dave and Bertha Lawhorn Thompson on July 12, 1931. Mr. Thompson owned and operated Thompson's Auto Shop and loved to farm. He was a Woodford County Volunteer Fire Fighter in Nonesuch and a member of Wilmore Free Methodist Church. In addition to his wife of over 60 years, he is survived by his sister, Fona Manly, Lexington; his sister in laws, Margaret Thompson, Lexington and Marilyn (John) Weber, Mortonsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Orena Kincaid and Edna King; and his brothers, Charles and Eugene Thompson.. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Rev. Dean Cook and Rev. Dwight Winter officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
