Obituary of Albert Vege Perry

<b>Frankfort</b> Albert Vege Perry, 78, passed away on January 9, 2014 at his home. He was born in Anderson County on January 28, 1935 to the late Leslie E. and Alberta Cooper Perry. He was a Teamster for over 30 years, retiring from TNT Holland in 1997. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he continually served and cared for his family. He was a Veteran having served in the Korean War. Albert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing in Kentucky and Florida. He also enjoyed golf and Southern Gospel music. He was a dedicated follower of Christ and a member of Capital City Christian Church for over 50 years. Mr. Perry is survived by Sue, his wife of 55 years; his son, Jeffery Dale (Katrina) Perry of <b>Frankfort</b>; his daughters, Lana Jolene Parris of <b>Frankfort</b> and Joy Beth (Robbie) Davis of Lakeland, Florida; his sisters, Sylvia Goins of Alton and Betty Ann (James) Wright of Waddy; his brother, Gerald (Shirley) Perry of Lawrenceburg; and his grandchildren, Trevor Perry, Jordan and Brittany Parris, and Perry, Luci and Susie Davis. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma McDonald and Linda Henderson; and three brothers, Coleman Perry, Thomas Perry and Patrick Perry. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday at Capital City Christian Church, 15 Locust Lane, <b>Frankfort</b>, KY, with Dr. Stephen Pattison and Jon Sutphin officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Crusaders Class of Capital City Christian Church. Friends and family may visit from 1:00PM until the time of service at the church.
