<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Lexington - Phyllis B. Brown, 80, died Sunday December 21, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born in Waynesville, NC on January 4, 1934 to the late Carl and Lena Duncan Swanger. Phyllis had been a Dairy Queen owner in Lexington for over 25 years where she was known to many as "Mrs. B". In addition to her membership at Northview Baptist Church, she had been a Sunday school teacher and Girl Scout Leader. Phyllis also spent many years in Letcher County. Survivors include her daughter, Carla J. (David) Hensley, sons, Doug (Laura) Brown, David (Sandra) Brown, all of Lexington, grandchildren, Erica Wolford, Rachel Brown, Landon Brown, and great grandchildren, Hunter Griffith and Nolan Dixon, as well as nieces and nephews in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Brown and brother, Carl Swanger. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Terry Murphy will be 9AM Wednesday at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
