Obituary of Shelia Faye Franklin

<b>Lexington, KY</b> Lexington- Shelia Faye (Cavanaugh) Franklin, 58, died January 8, 2014, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughters Sabrina (Shaun) Stephens and Elizabeth (Trinity) Davis; granddaughters Gillian and Riley Stephens, Kyleigh and Avery Davis; sisters Sharon (Paul) Cothran and Debbie (Jim) Vandergrift; brothers Perry (Carolyn) Cavanaugh, John Cavanaugh, Gary (Pam) Cavanaugh and Rusty (Susan) Cavanaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband John Lee Franklin and her parents Winford and Betty Cavanaugh. Shelia was an OR Nurse at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed afternoons at Keeneland, gardening and cooking for her friends and family. Shelia was kind, loving and will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, Sheila has asked her friends and family to make a donation to their local food bank in her honor. <b>Funeral Information</b> Gathering of Family and friends will be held Saturday 11, 2014 from 1-3:30 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, KY.
