Obituary of Dura Jean Mitchell Crawford

<b>Obituary</b> Dura Jean Mitchell Crawford, 71, of Lexington, Kentucky, joined her heavenly father on Monday, May 14, 2012 after a short illness. She was born on February 11, 1941 to the late Elymas and Helen Mitchell. Dura is survived by her brother, Stuart L. Mitchell; her step-daughter, Debbie Monroe, both of Lexington, Kentucky; and several grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie "Lefty" Crawford; her son, Randy Crawford; and her step-daughter, Teri Williams. Dura graduated from Lafayette High School and was retired from the former Bank of Commerce of Lexington. She was a devoted and active member of the Pathway Church and Ministry Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the members of the Pathway Church and Ministry Center, and to her special friends, Teddie Hammon, Frances Trowbridge. and Lois Ann Stephens. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral Service will be 6:00 pm, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Pathway Church and Ministry on Clays Mill Road. Then a Gathering of Family and Friends to honor Dura's life and legacy, will be 5-8 pm, Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
