Dear father of Mark (Molly), Dawn and Debra (Terry). Adored Grandfather of Kimberly (Adam), Ashley, Kelly (Casey), Daniel, Erik, Jacob, Zachary and Bailey. Loving Great Grandfather to Kaleb, Blake, Joshua and Reagan. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Minna, his infant twin brother Erich, and infant grandson Kevin. Art was born on April 7, 1930 in Sylvan Lake Michigan, graduated from Pontiac Central High School class of 1948 and proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Art enjoyed many years of retirement after a long, distinguished career at IBM. He spent a lifetime serving God and his community through his volunteer work, that ranged from serving his church, serving on community boards and mentoring youth through the Boy Scouts. Art was a long time member of St. Stephan Lutheran Church and a founding member of Bread of Life Lutheran Church. Art was the proud recipient of numerous awards and on February 6, 2015 he received his greatest achievement, the applause of heaven. Art had a zest for life and adventure leaving his family and friends with fond memories that they will cherish forever. What will be missed most is the twinkle in his eyes and his radiant smile. <b>Funeral Information</b> Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Michigan that will be announced at a later date.
