Obituary of Jean Carol Hieb

<b>Lexington, Kentucky</b> Jean "Cookie" Dorsey Hieb, 72, wife of Alfred J. Hieb, Jr., died August 22, 2015. She is also survived by her son, A.J. Hieb, III; daughter, Jennifer Anderson and grandson, Jacob Anderson. Born in Rupert, WV, she was the daughter of the late Verna Lee and John I. Dorsey, Jr. After graduating from Potomac State College in WV, Jean attended UK. She practiced real estate in Lexington for 25 years, was an active member of the Lexington Board of Realtors, and an owner of Signature Real Estate. She served a long term on the Board of Directors at the Bob W. Brown House for physically and mentally challenged adults. Jean was a friend to many, loved everyone and never met a stranger. Special thanks to her caregivers, Jennifer Franklin, Kay Gaines, Yvonne Black and Jenny Price as well as Hospice of the Bluegrass for taking such great care of her. <b>Funeral Information</b> Gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
