<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Bill Lambdin, 76 of Georgetown, Kentucky passed away June 19, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Lambdin was born in Clearfield, Tennessee, February 6, 1938 to the late Elmer and Edna Fuson Lambdin. He is survived by his wife Barbara Steele Lambdin of 48 years, son William Brian, daughter in law Amy and grandson Daren Lambdin of Independence, Kentucky, three brothers Wilburn, Cincinnati, Ohio, James, Lebanon Junction, KY and Lonny of Williamsburg, Kentucky, five sisters, Jewel Shelton, Detroit, Michigan, Joann Lambdin, Fairborn, Ohio, Sue Walker, Richmond, Kentucky, Nola Prichard, Auburn, Georgia and Shirley Abner, Jasper, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by a brother Edward Lambdin of Louisville, KY Mr. Lambdin and his wife resided in Northern KY for 38 years where he was a teacher at Campbell County High School for 30 years. During that time he taught dual credit political science for Northern Kentucky University for several years. Upon retiring from education Mr. Lambdin was employed by US Representative Jim Bunning as a field worker in the northeastern area of Northern, KY for six years. US Senator Bunning then employed him to open the Lexington office where he worked another nine years in the field. Mr. Lambdin held degrees from Cumberland College, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Cincinnati. He was a member of Frankfort First United Methodist Church. Celebration of Life will be held at Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM Monday June 23, 2014. Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm with Funeral services to follow at 2:30 pm Tuesday June 24th at the Frankfort United Methodist Church with Dr. Phil Hill, Reverend Sandra Murphy, and Reverend Jackson Brewer officiating. Following the service there will be a Luncheon Gathering in Asbury Hall. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday June 25, 2014 from 11:00 to 11:30 CST at JC Kirby Funeral Home in Bowling Green, KY followed by a graveside service at 11:30 CST at Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green,KY.
