Obituary of Carolyn Louise Land

<b>Obituaries</b> Carolyn Louise Land, 69, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at her home in Lexington, Kentucky after a battle with cancer. She was born June 11, 1942 in San Francisco, California to the late Frank and Katherine Giraudo Polizzi. Carolyn graduated from Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, California and was an educator with Partners in Reading in San Jose. She was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Danny Land, and their daughter, Kristen, both of Lexington; and one sister, Donna Tabucchi, of California. <b>Funeral Information</b> Graveside services will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky, officiated by Father Richard Watson.
