<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Vicki Ann Brothers Tidwell passed away August 29, 2014. Vicki was a loving, and loved, daughter, wife and mother. Vicki is survived by her heartbroken husband Jim and their children Will, Chandler (Taleb) and Patrick. She is also survived by her parents J.D. and Pat Brothers, her brother Jay (Nikki) Brothers, brother Chet Brothers and Sister Wendi Brothers and nieces and nephews Sullivan, Addison, Emmalyn, Paxton, Artie and Levi. She also leaves behind her brother and sister in-Law, Bill and Jane Tidwell and her nieces Poppy Tidwell and Ivy (Hunt) Prothro. We would also like to recognize her closest friends Karla, Christina, Laura, Lisa, Cynthia, and Anita. Vicki grew up in Prattville Alabama and graduated from Prattville High School. She attended Auburn University, Mississippi State University, and received her BS in Biology from Kentucky State University, with a Teaching Certificate. She received her MS in Biology Education from Georgetown College. Vicki spent her professional life as an educator in Frankfort Kentucky teaching in both the Franklin County and Frankfort Independent schools. She loved teaching Middle School science and was known for her ability to teach every child in a way that was effective for them. She was also known for caring about every child from every background and many called her "Momma Tidwell" or "Momma Vicki". Vicki also loved senior citizens and volunteered many hours at the Frankfort Senior Activity Center. She loved animals and volunteered long days at the spay and neuter clinics in the surrounding counties. <b>Funeral Information</b> A Gathering of Family and Friends will be September 6, 2014 from 2:30-5:30 PM at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
