Obituary of Michael Poor

<b>Obituary</b> Michael Poor, 56, of Versailles, Kentucky and the husband of Lori Poor, died Sunday, September 9, 2012. A native of Woodford County, he was born on June 30, 1956 to the late Billy Ray and June Sewell Poor. Mr. Poor was the owner and operator of Michael Poor Excavating and maintaining the South Woodford Water District for 19 years, which will continue to be operated by his wife and sons. He was a member of Truth Community Church in Nonesuch, Kentucky. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Bobbie Machelle (Josh) Blackmer and Crystal June (Joey) Blackmer, both of Lancaster; his sons, Ryan Anthony Miller and Michael Wade Poor, both of Nonesuch; his brother, Billy Wayne (Elizabeth) Poor, Nicholasville; his grandchildren, Brian Taylor Blackmer and Gracelyn Ryan Taylor Miller; his aunt, Shirley Poor, Nonesuch; his uncle, Doug Sewell, Nonesuch; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Uncle, Donald Poor. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill in Versailles, Kentucky. Funeral Service will be 11 am, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Troy Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carl Jones and Rev. DeWayne Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Bo Wilson, Larry Roberts, Cecil Upton, Joey Blackmer, Josh Blackmer, John Adams , George Withers and J.R. Adams. Honorary casketbearers will be Charles "Shorty" Hahn, Kevin McDonald, Don Adkins, Don Golden, Kevin Wilson, Billy Wilson, Travis Magruder, Ricky Poor, Derrick Poor, Dylan Poor, Cody Poor and Noah Poor.
