Obituary of Henry J. Popovich

<b>Obituary</b> Henry J Popovich, born on 30 Dec, 1920, and raised a true son of Boonton, NJ at 315 Highland Ave. Attended public grade school; played football for and graduated from Boonton High. Served in combat overseas in China and Southeast Asia during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for valor. A self made individual, he rose to personal heights as a District Manager for Suburban Propane Gas Corp. in Mahwah, NJ, and later as a Regional Manager for Suburban, eventually being offered a vice-presidency at that company. He became a resident of Ft Mitchell, KY, in 1966 and has resided in Lexington, KY, since 1997. A beloved father, he is survived by his three sons, Raymond, Steven and John, and his wife Helen Popovich (nee DaRos), all of Lexington, KY; four sisters, Holly Mahedy Margaret Guiton, residing in Boonton NJ, Lillian Manella in Kissimmee, FL, and Marion Gray in Fort Pierce, FL; a daughter-in-law, Robin and two grandchildren, Harrison and Alyssa Popovich, also of Lexington, KY, and fourteen nieces and ten nephews. Henry died at 7pm, Apr 14, 2009, and will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched. He lived his life by a simple creed: "Always leave the world a better place than you found it." <b>Funeral Information</b> No services planned at this time.
