Obituary of Brian David Yanko

<b>Obituary</b> Brian David Yanko, 49, of Versailles, formally of South Bend, IN, passed away on Sept 16, 2009 at UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Brian was born on May 23, 1960 in Columbus, OH, to Rita Lubinski Yanko, now of South Bend, IN, and the late David G. Yanko, Jr. On August 14, 1987, Brian married Debbie (Hooley) in Springfield, TN. His wife, Debbie along with their daughters, Rachel and Emily Yanko, live in Versailles. Brian is also survived by his sisters, Amy (James) Phelps of South Bend, and Beth Ann Fuller of North Liberty, IN; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Miriam Hooley of Goshen, IN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois (Alan) Hall of Mabelvale, AR; John (Cindi) Hooley of Elkhart, IN; Weldon Hooley of Ellijay, GA; Rose (Steve) Slusser of Elkhart, Dorcas Hooley of Elkhart, and Stan Hooley of Wasilla, AK; many nieces and nephews, and a great-niece and nephew. Brian was a 1978 graduate of Washington High School in South Bend and attended IUSB, majoring in music. He was currently employed by Furniture Row Outlet, Lexington and a carrier of the Lexington Herald Leader. Brian was a talented musician who played in a variety of bands in Indiana and Kentucky. He loved music, science fiction, traveling, and most of all his family. <b>Funeral Information</b> A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, September 19, 5-8 pm at Clark Legacy Center.
