Obituary of Gurney Lee

<b>Obituary</b> Gurney Lee, 67, of Lexington, Kentucky, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011. He was born January 17, 1944 in Winchester, Kentucky, to the late Roy and Mary Derickson Lee. Gurney is survived by his wife, Betty Blake Lee; daughter, Melissa (Charles) Stamper of Lexington; son, Gurney (Allison) Lee Jr. of Lexington; two sisters, Bettie Aldridge of Lexington and Brenda Clem of Winchester; and five grandchildren, Taya and Katie Stamper, and Robert, Shay and Meredith Lee. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan Stamper. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Clark Legacy Center. Funeral service will be 10 am, Friday, December 16, 2011, also at Clark Legacy Center, with Chaplin Stewart Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in The Lexington Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Sam, Kevin and Brian Garland, Scott Clem, James Lee and Harold Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Max Basore.
